Biography
Jeannine Ortega is an Orlando, FL native. She received her English Literature B.A. from University of Central Florida and Music B.A. from Rollins College. She holds a Master of Liberal Studies from Rollins College. She completed her doctoral degree from Florida State University in literature, media, and culture with a focus on Latinx Literature and a minor in media studies. Her interests include US Latinx diaspora, Spanglish, Colombianx studies, queer studies, and media representations of Latinidad.
