Adjunct Instructor

SMCM Alum , Class of 2008
Biography
I'm a graduate of the UC Davis Entomology program where I completed my masters, focusing on a taxonomic revision of the subgenus Litomegachile leaf-cutter bees with a description of a new species and key to current species. Before that, I attended St. Mary's College of Maryland, where I majored in Biology and minored in Environmental studies and Studio art. I've recently returned to my alma mater as a visiting instructor of biology. In addition to my focus in biology and entomology, I enjoy incorporating my scientific illustration and photography skills wherever I can. I occasionally share my thoughts and insect photography on my blog: http://sentimentalentomologist.blogspot.com/
