Biography

Dr. Destini Braxton served five years as a K-12 special education math teacher. Dr. Braxton’s research focuses on teacher-student relationships (e.g., trust), STEM academic emotions, and motivation for minoritized students and students with learning disabilities. Her work has been awarded by both APA Division 15 (Educational Psychology) and AERA Division C (Learning and Instruction).
