A Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration with Denice Frohman

Join the Steny H. Hoyer Center for the Study of Democracy for a special Hispanic Heritage Month celebration featuring acclaimed poet and performer Denice Frohman, as part of the Center’s American Dialogue Series.

Through poetry and performance, Frohman explores the complexities of gender, identity, race, culture, and belonging. Her work reflects on the experiences of Latina communities and the ways artistic expression can bring different perspectives into conversation. The program highlights the role of the arts in fostering democratic dialogue, expanding our understanding of one another, and creating space for voices and experiences that are too often overlooked.
