Join us for another Natural Science and Mathematics Colloquium talk of the spring semester!

Wednesday, March 11th 2026
Schaefer Hall 106 @ 4:45 p.m.

Dr. Sai Madhav Modumudi will give his seminar titled: "Can Black Holes keep Secrets: Horizon Symmetries and Information Paradox"

Dr. Modumudi has broad research interests in theoretical and mathematical physics, spanning both general relativity and various approaches to quantum gravity. His current research focuses on different properties of axially symmetric black holes in general relativity. He is working on different types of singularities possible in covariant theories, the generalization and maximal analytic extension of exact solutions, the null structure of spacetime, asymptotic symmetry groups and conserved quantities.

This event is free and open to the public. It is meant for a general audience. If you are an instructor, please announce it to your students.
