Fall Internship Opportunities: U.S. Department of Justice Trustee Program

Audience
Student

The United States Trustee Program is a litigating component of the Department of Justice whose mission is to promote the integrity and efficiency of the bankruptcy system for the benefit of all stakeholders — debtors, creditors and the public. Often described as the “watchdog of the bankruptcy system,” the USTP acts to prevent fraud, dishonesty, and overreaching in the bankruptcy system.

Non-Legal Internships with the USTP provide undergraduate and recent graduates an opportunity to gain experience in their fields while helping to fortify United States bankruptcy law. The USTP currently offers paralegal, analyst/auditor, program analyst, and graphic illustrator internships. Positions are available in the Executive Office for United States Trustees (EOUST) and many of the Program’s field offices throughout the country.
