Cold, flu, and virus season is here! Students are welcome to stop by the Health Services clinic to pick up free self-care supplies to help manage symptoms- no appointment needed.
Flu and COVID-19 home test kits are available at most community pharmacies and retail stores. Please visit the American Academy of Family Physicians website for reliable information on Colds and the Flu and when to seek medical care. An Interactive Symptom Checker is also available for additional guidance.
To schedule a medical appointment with our team, call 240-895-4289. There is no charge for visits.
Masks are required in the Health Services building. If you do not have one, a mask will be provided.
Following your evaluation, a clinician may provide documentation indicating when it is appropriate to return to in-person learning after an infectious illness or injury. Please note that Health Services does not issue notes to excuse class absences. Therefore, we discourage scheduling appointments solely for that purpose. The college’s attendance policy can be found in To the Point- Student Handbook 2025-2026.
