Dr. James Mantell and Dr. Aileen Bailey, faculty in the Psychology Department at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, are accepting applications for summer 2026 Psychology Data Science Research Assistant (RA). Two positions are available.
This opportunity will enable undergraduate RAs to expand their professional skills including project management, research design, data analysis, and data science pedagogy. RAs will actively participate in regular research meetings with the PIs, practice data science skills, assist with data collection and analysis, offer feedback on course materials, and may assist with the preparation of posters, presentations, and papers.
This is an hourly position with 20 hours per week for 8 weeks between May 18 - July 10, 2026. The pay rate is $18/hour. The work schedule is flexible and will depend on the mutual availability of the RAs and PIs. Support for on-campus housing is available.
