Join the Museum Studies community Tuesday, February 24, 4:30-6:00pm, for a discussion with professionals from museums and other cultural heritage sites in Southern Maryland to learn how their institutions are planning programming and events for the upcoming 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Our panelists include Anjela Barnes (Executive Director, Accokeek Foundation at Piscataway Park), Peter Friesen (Director of Education, Historic St Mary’s City), Jerome Spears (Genetic Explorer/Family Researcher, Historic Sotterley Descendants), Lucille Walker (Executive Director, Southern Maryland National Heritage Area).
