The Department of Educational Studies Invites Applications for the 2026-27 Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Cohort

The department of educational studies is pleased to announce the opening of the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Application for the 2026-27 cohort.

We invite applications from the following students:

• Current seniors who are interested in the traditional +1 MAT program
• Current juniors who are interested in the Dual Enrollment track to begin during their senior year

For additional guidance, attend our upcoming fall MAT Workshop Series sessions held in the Dallas P. Dean Learning Commons, classroom LC214, from 11:30am-12:30pm:

• Friday, October 17, 2025 - Completing the MAT Application, Application Party! 
• Friday, October 31, 2025 - Open Advising Time 
• Tuesday, November 4, 2025 - Advising Day 
• Friday, November 14, 2025 - Master Research Project Presentations 
• Friday, December 5, 2025 - Paying for the MAT
