Congratulations to Bhargavi Bandi, the September winner for the Seahawk Spirit Award!
Bhargavi Bandi works in the Admissions department and was nominated under the Kudos Award category.
This is what the nominator shared about Bhargavi: "About 36 hours before new students arrived on campus, we discovered an error with the processing of preferred names for 45 of the new students. Their preferred names were not imported into the database correctly, and their new student IDs were printed with their dead names. Dead names were also appearing on the class rosters available to faculty. Bhargavi replied to my 5:30 pm panicked email within 20 minutes, and 30 minutes later, she had updated the records of all 45 students. This allowed IDs to be re-printed and names to appear correctly on class rosters."
As the monthly winner, Bhargavi will receive 5 meal tickets to the Great Room and a certificate of appreciation.
