🌟Financial Management Analyst Internships with Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (Business & Financial Operations Department) is now recruiting candidates for the Naval Acquisition Development Program (NADP) and the Financial Management Career Program (FMCP).

📍 Positions may be located in Patuxent River, MD; St. Inigoes, MD; or the Arlington, VA area.
💰 Salaries start at $57,164 (GS-07), with promotion potential to GS-11 or GS-12.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
  • Analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.
  • Provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.
  • Formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities
  • Develop, determine and interpret budgetary policies and practices.

Qualifications:

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develop financial reports on program to submit to management; 2) Utilize financial system to input information; and 3) Gather financial data to retrieve the status of programs OR have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education OR have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement OR have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

Who Can Apply:

  • U.S. citizens who can obtain/maintain a secret-level security clearance.
  • GS-07 level: Bachelor’s degree (with at least 24 credits in finance, accounting, or business administration and GPA ≥ 2.95).
  • Recent graduates (within 2 years) may qualify for the FMCP track.
