St. Mary’s College of Maryland (SMCM) welcomes the return of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO), under the baton of Nicholas Hersh, to the Nancy R. & Norton T. Dodge Performing Arts Center on Friday, August 1 at 7 p.m. The concert is open to the public, with tickets available under a “Pay-What-You-Wish” arrangement.

The “Sunset Serenades” performance, representing the St. Mary’s County stop under the BSO’s “Music for Maryland” series, marks the return of the orchestra to SMCM under the same series as an August 2023 performance. Featuring harpist Bridget Kibbey, the concert will include dance-inspired works from across Europe by Shostakovich, Tailleferre, Dvořák and Strauss.

With the last visit by the BSO selling out, tickets are going fast - be sure to secure yours now!
