Please join me in congratulating the following employees as they assume their new roles as members of the St. Mary’s College of Maryland team:

John Stillwaggon, who has assumed the position as controller, comes to St. Mary's College with a vast amount of experience and knowledge. Stillwaggon has served well-known firms, including KPMG as audit manager, The Art Institutes International (Aii) as controller and Miami International University of Art & Design as vice president of operations, and his most recent endeavor was as controller for the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. John assumed his position with us on June 11, 2025.

Current St. Mary’s College employee, Charles A. Wilson III, SMCM architect, has been appointed as the interim associate vice president for facilities and campus architect. Wilson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role with his experience in planning, design, facilities and construction
management.

Wanda Fenwick has recently filled the position of executive administrative assistant in the vice president of business and CFO’s office. Fenwick brings a strong foundation in business administration with over two decades of experience providing strategic support to high-level executives. Her discretion, adaptability and knowledge have allowed her to previously serve large-scale organizations, including Calvert County government, MedStar Health and most recently, St. Mary’s County Public Schools.

Please welcome these administrators to SMCM.
