Are you creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference? Solomons Mission, a nonprofit organization in Solomons, MD is looking for a talented Marketing & Events Intern to join their team!
Solomons Mission serves individuals and families experiencing food and clothing insecurity—and they need someone with style, vision, and a strong sense of community to help share their story and expand their reach.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
- Design flyers, banners, and other promotional materials using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools
- Regularly update and maintain the organization’s website and social media platforms
- Plan, promote, and coordinate community events and fundraising activities
- Capture and organize photos for outreach and promotional use
- Assist with general marketing strategies to raise awareness of our mission and services
🛠️ Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Experience with photography and basic photo editing
- Eye for design and detail
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects
- Passion for nonprofit work and community support
