Congratulations to Scott Conger, the March winner for the Seahawk Spirit Award!
Scott is a Trades Mechanic in the Physical Plant department and nominated under the St. Mary's Way category! This is what the nominator shared about Scott: "Scott is a shining example of the "St. Mary's Way" and an invaluable asset to the St. Mary's College community. His exceptional performance was clearly demonstrated during the recent office entrance renovations. We were faced with disruption and potentially harmful dust, Scott and Dave proactively engineered a clever makeshift plastic entrance that significantly minimized the impact on our workspace. What stood out even more was Scott's positive attitude throughout the process, turning a negative situation into a surprisingly fun and positive experience with a smile. Beyond his skilled work as a tradesman, Scott and Dave work together consistently going above and beyond by brightening their colleagues' days with thoughtful surprise items. Scott, is a highly skilled and dedicated team member. His approachable nature and collaborative spirit make him a pleasure to work with and a cornerstone of our community."
As the monthly winner, Scott will receive 5 meal tickets to the Great Room and a certificate of appreciation.
If you see Scott around on campus please congratulate him and thank Scott for everything he does to make our SMCM community a wonderful place to be!
