The Media, Literacy and Civic Engagement and Democracy Project (MLCED) Presents: A Misinformation Escape Room!

Ready to test your puzzle solving skills? Join us for an interactive experience with a Misinformation Escape Room!

You’ll work in teams of 4-6 people, to dive into a world of clues, riddles and tricky media puzzles designed to uncover hidden truths. You can either build your team or be placed in a team on the day of!

After the game, a debriefing session will occur where we’ll discuss what misinformation is, how it affects us, and where we fit in within the larger conversation around misinformation.

Gameplay is adapted from Looki’s Loop, a project under the University of Washington Center for an Informed Public.

This event is offered by the Media Literacy, Civic Engagement, and Democracy Project, a partnership of the College's Center for the Study of Democracy and Hilda C. Landers Library.
