Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of vibrant culture, rhythm, movement, and color as the Kardelen Turkish Dance Ensemble brings the beauty of Turkish Dance to our SMCM community!

The Kardelen Turkish Dance Ensemble was founded in Washington, DC in 2004 by a group of individuals dedicated to promoting the diverse, rich and vibrant culture of Turkey through its dances, and building cultural bridges and friendship between the Turkish and American People through cultural understanding and appreciation. They perform at the Annual Turkish Festival in DC regularly and represent Turkey at the Sister States event in Annapolis.

This event is co-sponsored by Asian Studies, Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies (WGSX), the St. Mary's Arts Alliance, and the Asian & Pacific Islander American Club (APAC).
