Measles Guidance

According to the Maryland Department of Health, there is an ongoing measles outbreak in the southwestern United States. However, there has only been 1 travel-related measles case in Maryland. Students concerned about their immunity status to measles should consult with their primary care provider, health department, or call to schedule an appointment with Health Services to discuss their concerns. Students with symptoms of measles must CALL before coming to the clinic to minimize risk of exposure to other people in our facility. You will receive further instructions before arriving for your visit.

For information on measles symptoms and complications, visit the CDC Measles (Rubeola) page HERE.

For information on measles vaccination, visit the CDC Measles Vaccine Recommendations page HERE.
