Seeking nomination for the 2025 Andy Kozak Faculty Contribution to Student Life Award by individuals, clubs and organizations. A nomination may be submitted for the 2025 Andy Kozak Student Life Award no later than March 8th. The letter should outline how the faculty member has contributed to Student Life.
ELIGIBILITY: The recipient must be a full-time, teaching professor at St. Mary's College of Maryland. This includes faculty on sabbatical, temporary leave, or leave to serve in administrative positions. To be considered for this award, faculty members must be nominated by members of a recognized student organization, such as a sports team or student club. Faculty nominated for the award should be active participants in student life through attendance at sporting events, student performances, and lectures; involvement in intramurals and in campus events; voluntary coaching, service on student life committees; advising student organizations, and other activities that students deem important. In considering nominees for the award, the selection committee will give preference to faculty members whose activities are with student organizations outside of the faculty member's discipline or academic interest.
Recipients of the award shall not be eligible to receive the award again until three years have passed from when they received the award.

The Andy Kozak Faculty Contribution to Student Life Award was established in 2011 by Donald R. Stabile, economics professor, and professor of the college, to honor his colleague, the late Andy Kozak. The award recognizes faculty members who are active participants in the student life of the college. The award will be given out at the College's annual Awards Convocation.
