Alumni Council Challenge

Are you passionate about a particular academic program, student club, varsity sport or scholarship at St. Mary's College of Maryland? If so, consider being a Giving Tuesday Champion!

This Giving Tuesday on December 3, join the SMCM Alumni Council Challenge by signing up to be a champion and compete for a share of $30,000 in prizes donated by the Alumni Council for your favorite SMCM cause or fund. 

Here’s how it works, step by step:
1. Sign up to be a champion by Sunday, November 10. 
2. Utilize the resources we give you to excite your friends and family to make a donation of $10 or more on Giving Tuesday, December 3, and vote for you as their champion.
3. Land in the top ten champions (by vote number) and win between $500 and $5,000 for your chosen SMCM fund or cause.
4. Earn an additional $10 for every alum or student who votes for you.
5. As a grand finale, win great merch based on your number of votes!
