Exciting news! The Office of International Education, in collaboration with the IIE Passport Grant Initiative, is sponsoring 50 students to apply for passports this year!
For this grant, we are looking for Pell Grant-eligible US citizen students who are above 18 years old and have never before applied for a passport. We are prioritizing first-year students, but may also be able to help others. Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis (first-come, first-serve) this Fall.
If you think you may qualify, please take the following steps:
1) Open this program in Via TRM to review your eligibility and apply as soon as possible.
2) If you haven't already, schedule an advising appointment here, and put "passport" in the notes section. (If you've already booked an appointment for another reason, make sure we also discuss passports!)
Please note: This grant does not require any commitment to study abroad, though, of course, we hope to make this path easier! Recipients will be awarded the grant on a reimbursement basis after eligibility checks.
