EcoTheo Collective is a literary arts nonprofit that publishes an online & quarterly print magazine featuring original writing + art that explore our relationships with nature and spirituality. We host literary events and an annual festival (Wonder) and administer a number of initiatives to celebrate and support BIPOC writers. Our mission is to celebrate wonder, enliven conversations, and inspire commitments to ecology, spirituality, and art.

Interns assist the executive directors and editors on various projects related to the magazine and programs. They often have responsibility for social media, participate in editorial meetings, and help to design and distribute promotional materials for our festival and other events. In the past interns have had a particular interest or focus in literature, literary publishing, environmental studies, and/or religious studies. None of these are required.

We provide a good balance of supervision and independence, and encourage our interns to work on projects that are especially exciting for them. EcoTheo is a supportive and inclusive environment, and we work hard to make the internship experience one that is rewarding and gratifying for everyone involved.
