We are excited to introduce World Cuisine Wednesday … a partnership between Bon Appetit and the Multicultural Programs Office designed to celebrate and explore cultural diversity through food! Every Wednesday Chef Will and the amazing Bon Appetit staff will create lunch items representing different regional cuisines to delight the palate.
Here is a quick look at the coming weeks:
- October 11: Hispanic Heritage Month Cuisine (Puerto Rican)
- October 18: Italian Heritage Month Cuisine
- October 25: Polish American Heritage Month Cuisine
- November 1: Native American Heritage Month Cuisine
Do you have a favorite dish or family recipe you would like to have Chef Will prepare for World Cuisine Wednesdays? Simply send an email to Chef Will with the recipe at wlmohica@smcm.edu and let him know the story/tradition and why the recipe is important to you. If your recipe is selected, you will join Chef Will in preparing the dish and have your story shared on serving day!
