Calling all artists, writers, and poets! SMCM's student-run literary magazine, AVATAR, is now accepting submissions for our Fall 2023 edition!
Email avatar@smcm.edu by Monday, October 30th to submit up to:
- Five poems
- Five black-and-white photographs
- One prose piece (up to 3000 words)
Please submit files containing text as pdfs. Images may be submitted in any file format.
AVATAR holds open editorial meetings every Tuesday at 6pm in Montgomery Hall 101, during which student submissions are reviewed anonymously for placement in the magazine. All are welcome to observe or participate.
