Business Law offered in Summer

Using the case method, we will explore Constitutional law as it applies to business operations, including the First Amendment and the Commerce Clause. We will discuss contract law, securities, business organizations, and negligence; listen to Supreme Court oral arguments and popular music; and watch commercials and interviews with litigants. Class discussions over Zoom will continue into collaborative work. You will be called upon to apply your knowledge in a group project involving a business plan and creative presentation. You will get comfortable reading and briefing a case.
