St. Mary’s College of Maryland Performing Arts Program is proud to present AIRNESS in the Bruce Davis Theater November 2-6, 2022.

Written by Chelsea Marcantel

Directed by Amy Steiger

Nina plays actual guitar, so winning an air guitar competition should be a breeze, right? Nope! Fortunately a flock of misfit air guitar aficionados takes her under their wings and schools her in the ways of airness. Chelsea Marcantel’s poignant comedy about the power of performance, questioning what’s “real,” and finding community in unexpected places pays homage to the world of competitive air guitar.

The Chicago Reader called Airness “Unmitigated pleasure… filled with dignity and delight.”

Tickets are available now! Email boxoffice@smcm.edu to reserve seats.

Performances are Nov. 2-5 at 8:00 pm and November 6 at 2:00 pm.
