Dear Campus Community,
It is my pleasure to announce that Dr. Victor Perez will be the next Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies for St. Mary's College of Maryland. Dr. Perez comes to St. Mary's from the Calvert Marine Museum where he served as the Assistant Curator of Paleontology since 2020. Dr. Perez plans to begin his position with St. Mary's on August 1.
A strong pool of candidates applied and the search committee selected accomplished, qualified and distinctive finalists. I want to thank the members of the Search Committee and everyone on campus who contributed to this successful search. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Perez to St. Mary's College.
