The Front End Development Intern will work with the Web Services team under the direction of the Web Developer, Dan Pindell.

The intern will begin learning and working at the level which matches their experience and will be assigned tasking at levels ranging from introductory to advanced as appropriate. For a full list of potential duties, review the job posting on Hire SMCM:

Topics may include: User experience (UX), Graphic Design, Responsive/Mobile Design, Motion Design, Typography, Accessibility, Photo & Video Production, Social Media, Virtual & Augmented Reality.

Applicants of all disciplines, knowledge, and skill level are strongly encouraged to apply. A technical background is appreciated, but not mandatory. Related hobbies, such as building a personal computer (PC), gaming, streaming, blogging, digital art making, or social media will be treated as acceptable evidence of technical sophistication if web development experience is absent. A willingness to ask “foolish” questions and try new things is essential.

All meetings and tasking assignments will be conducted remotely via Zoom or email. A computer and internet connection will be required for off-campus applicants.
