Intended Audience
The PING Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Larry Vote, will give two spring concerts. PING, under the direction of Professor of Music Larry Vote will perform music of Palestrina, Vivaldi, Brahms, Guastavino, Lauridsen, Hogan and Taylor Swift. The concert will feature a solo piano composition by Brahms performed by the accompanist of the group, Rie Moore and Beatus Vir for two sopranos and strings by Antonio Vivaldi. Anabelle Adams and Bea Lehman will be featured as soloists for this performance. String accompaniment will be provided by members of the SMCM Orchestra. These will be the final performances of the PING Ensemble before Professor Larry Vote retires from the College at the end of the spring semester.
Followers of the PING Ensemble over the years are especially invited to attend this performance.
