Emma Sheppard is currently a Junior at St. Mary's College of Maryland pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies and Spanish with a minor in computer science. She grew up in rural Cecil County, Maryland where she always enjoyed outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. She states that spending so much time outside growing up caused her to cultivate an immense love and respect for nature. She hopes to pursue a career in the Department of Natural Resources where she can work to ensure a sustainable future for our environment by protecting the planet's natural resources for all future generations.
