Asst. Prof. Wilfong Published in "Earth's Future"

Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Matt Wilfong has been published in "Earth's Future" (AGU: Vol 14, Issue 7). He is co-author of "Urban Landscape Irrigation and the Future of Sustainable Cities" within that volume. The article proposes that while irrigation is necessary to sustain urban landscapes, it is often inefficiently managed in areas with water scarcity. Lead author Diane Patacki states that "new datasets show that it's possible to simultaneously conserve water resources, manage cities sustainably, and provide equitable access to greenspace for everyone."
