College Archivist Shane Moran Presents at SLRC Conference

Assistant Librarian and College Archivist Shane Moran participated in the fall 2025 State Library Resource Center (SLRC) Conference at the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Maryland on Oct. 28. The conference supports professional development for librarians in and out of state through training sessions, workshops and informative sessions. This year, the conference's theme centered around "Convergence: Technology, Equity and the Future." Moran led a workshop titled "Compassionate Cultural Preservation: When To Let History Die," where they explored the implications of current cultural preservation practices and how to effectively build collaborative and non-extractive partnerships within communities.
