Pam Mertz, professor of chemistry and biochemistry, is a co-author on a publication in the Journal of Chemical Education, “Designing Biochemical Visual Literacy Assessments: Insights from Classroom Testing and Student Interviews.” The publication features education research performed by Mertz and other members of the BioMolViz community, focusing on using student perspectives in the design of assessments that evaluate biomolecular visualization literacy.
