"It's crucial to give victims a fair chance in the justice system, not only for their rights and humane standards, but also to encourage future victims to step forward." - Chancee Martorell, human rights activist.

St. Mary's College continues to honor our cultural heritage months by celebrating historic and contemporary figures who have helped increase the awareness and impact of different cultures.

Look for these months and individuals highlighted on banners leading to the Campus Center, on social media and in InsideSMCM.

Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month is observed May 1-31.
