The purpose of this club is to see athletics transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Along with this, we want to lead every interested coach and athlete on the St. Mary’s College of Maryland campus into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. The primary way we would do this is through meetings or “Huddles”, as they are called by the FCA, to stimulate our member’s growth in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Along with our club meeting that we have, we would want to take what we learn in our meetings and apply the topics we speak about in our meetings within individual play of our members and other team members who are affiliated with the Christian religion, but that is not to say we don’t encourage new curiosities from other team members. This will be so that we can be a good witness of Jesus Christ within our teams and produce an inclusive environment for students who are interested in ways to grow their Christian faith on campus.
