Tuesday, October 22, 4:45 – 5:45pm, Cole Cinema, “Maya Wisdom and Lessons for our Future.” Archaeologist Lisa Lucero shares her insights on the relevance of ancestral Mayan practices for our modern world. Mayan farmers created a resilient, sustainable relationship with their environment that endured 4,000 years because of their inclusive, non-anthropocentric worldview and practices. This lecture is free and open to the public.
