MAT Hooding, May 9

The MAT Hooding ceremony is an opportunity for the graduating cohort to celebrate the work they have done during their graduate year. The event consists of a small reception and a ceremony where they receive their master’s hoods and receive congratulations and charges from their faculty. Two MAT graduates are scheduled to speak: Lauren Runkles '09/MAT '10, St. Mary's County Public Schools (SMCPS) 2024 Teacher of the Year will address the graduates, while Chris Rodkey '10/MAT '11, an assistant principal with SMCPS, will pay tribute to the legacy of Dallas P. Dean '60.
