What does it mean to build community across cultures, borders, and lived experiences? Join us for a conversation about how the Peace Corps contributes to stronger, more connected communities around the world.
Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) on our faculty and from the community will share their experiences, and recent SMCM alumni preparing for Peace Corps service will join the discussion. We will reflect on this year’s Essential Question, “What is Community?”, considering how communities around the world are formed and sustained. Whether you are curious about international service or simply looking to deepen your understanding of global citizenship, we hope you will be a part of the conversation.
All students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome.
