Join us on Feb. 13 from 5–7 p.m. for a Black History Month Barber & Beauty Shop Talk celebrating Black entrepreneurship and community leadership.

Donnell Young, owner of Six21 Mobile Barbershop, and Lauren Kelly, owner of TD Beauty, a Black-owned mobile loc business, will be on campus providing live hair services while sharing their journeys as Black business owners. Students will learn about building a brand, starting a business and the realities of running a mobile barber or beauty business.

Attendees will enjoy light snacks, participate in a Q&A session, and have the opportunity to tour both mobile shops after the discussion.

This event highlights innovation, ownership and the importance of supporting Black-owned businesses in our community.
