Biography
Rachel Heiss is an illustrator and hand-letter living just outside of Washington, D.C. She paints people, places and items that are significant to her clients, teaches watercolor workshops and creates hand lettered signage for weddings and businesses. Rachel is a former art teacher for District of Columbia Public Schools and is now an affiliate professor of art at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, her alma mater. She is a new mom who enjoys traveling, dessert and treating herself to fancy watercolor paint.
