"I’m very grateful I have the opportunity to attend this school where I feel part of a welcoming community and know that I can always seek help if needed academically, emotionally, and physically."

Raina Crew ‘24 is pursuing a major in Psychology and plans to earn a Ph.D. after graduation. Her goal is to open a private practice in psychology and be able to provide counseling services and therapy to those who seek out help. In addition, she has her heart set on publishing a book and aspires to be part of a community larger than her practice one day. Here at St. Mary’s College, Raina is actively involved in the bustling campus community. She is a coxswain for the Women’s Varsity Rowing Team and has completed an Externship on Public Health and Advocacy through one of the SMCM courses offered this semester. In addition, she is working for the Career Development Center as a Peer to Peer Career Mentor. Raina has set many high expectations for herself attending a national honors college by challenging herself to work hard, exploring new clubs, making connections, and being involved in this welcoming community here at St Mary’s College.
