Robert W. Paul

Biography

Dr. Paul came to St. Mary's College in 1977. He has taught a wide variety of courses in Biology and has an active research program focused on local aquatic ecosystems. His expertise is in freshwater and estuarine systems as well as statistics. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and serves as the Chair of the Program Committee. At St. Mary's has led study tours to southern India and the Andaman/Nicobar Islands. His past administrative positions include Biology Department Chair and Division Head of Natural Science and Mathematics. A long time member of the St. Mary's College Faculty Senate, Dr. Paul served two terms as President.
