Assistant Director of Residence Life
Biography
Melissa is a graduate of McDaniel College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in History and
International Relations and a minor in French. In August 2017 Melissa began working at St.
Mary's College of Maryland through IEP, a study abroad consulting company and served as the
Study Abroad Advisor for the campus until March 2020. Melissa joined the career center in July 2020 as the Internship Coordinator and transitioned into the role of Employer Relations & Events Coordinator in April 2021. In May 2024 Melissa joined the Office of Residence Life as the Assistant Director of Residence Life.
In addition to Melissa's work on campus, Melissa is currently the Staff Senate President and the Historian for the Phi Beta Kappa Zeta Chapter of MD. Melissa is also a Zumba instructor and teaches Zumba classes at SMCM!
