Keira O’Neail presented research to the Legal Services Corporation, a national nonprofit that supports access to legal assistance for low-income Americans. Working with Assistant Professor of Sociology and Anthropology Anne Groggel, Ph.D., she analyzed and presented findings on medical debt cases in Arkansas, highlighting the additional financial burden consumers face as a result of lawsuits.
