Kristina Howansky and April Fraser '23 Publish Article

April Fraser '23 and Associate Professor of Psychology Kristina Howansky, along with Melissa Zeligman (University of Central Florida), recently published an article "What doesn't kill you (sometimes) makes you stronger: The role of growth, meaning, and perceived control after trauma" in the journal Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy.  In two studies using online cross-sectional surveys of U.S. adults, researchers examined the relationship between search for meaning, post traumatic stress symptomatology, and post traumatic growth and whether locus of control moderated these associations. 

Fraser is currently pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Wyoming.
