Dear Campus Community,
Please join me in welcoming Shontay Kincaid, DBA, as the College’s administrative director and board liaison, effective today, July 22, 2026. In this role, she will lead and coordinate executive, administrative, and operational functions, and she will support board governance and the implementation of strategic priorities within the Office of the President.
Throughout the search process, Kincaid distinguished herself through her collaborative leadership style, thoughtful approach, and deep understanding of board governance and institutional operations. I am delighted to welcome her to St. Mary's College and am confident she will be a tremendous asset to the College as we continue advancing our strategic priorities.
Kincaid brings more than 15 years of experience supporting board governance and directing institutional operations across academic and nonprofit environments. She has most recently served as the senior advisor and director of governance and administration at the American Psychological Association in Washington, D.C. Previously, she served as the director of institutes and senior project manager at the Council on Undergraduate Research.
