Amber Verbic, Assistant Director of Health Services, recently graduated from Frostburg State University, earning her Master of Science in Nursing degree. Through the University System of Maryland’s institutional tuition waiver program, she completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program designed for RNs living and working in medically underserved areas. The program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Verbic also successfully passed the national certification examination through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, earning her board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
