Biography

Ishita Tripathi is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Her research lies at the intersection of Behavioral, Political, and Gender Economics, with a focus on how socio-economic environments influence individual perceptions, decision-making, and behavior. She earned her PhD in Economics from Louisiana State University in 2019. Prior to joining St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Ishita served as an Assistant Professor at Ahmedabad University, India, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Bologna, Italy.
