Mary Claire Nemeth, adjunct professor of art, has been awarded two grants through the Maryland State Arts Council. Nemeth, slated to be visiting assistant professor of art in the fall, received a $6,000 award through the Grants for Artists program which supports the working and living expenses of Maryland artists. She also received a Creativity Grant in the amount of $2,130 to support a new body of work involving large-scale printing on Tyvek material.
